Green Pass – compensation to nature & financing grassroots transformation
The Green Pass enables the football community to compensate for the environmental costs of the game and its infrastructure. Revenues from the Green Pass are transferred to the Football Fund, which supports green transformation and inclusion projects in grassroots football.
How it works
- Green Pass revenues sponsor projects such as the Artificial Grass Campaign and the Green Bag.
- The Green Pass functions as a payment solution for nature costs associated with football gear and as grassroots players contribution to Kunstgressdugnaden.
Pilot launch
The Green Pass will be piloted in fall 2025.
